Interested in Artistic Swimming? Check out our Try-It program!
In 2023, class will run every Sunday in October, beginning on October 1st at the Troy Boys and Girls Club. We ask that participants be able to attend 4 classes in order to complete the program. Once the classes are completed the decision can be made to continue on to the Sculpins Novice team. Best of all, we offer participation in our Try-It program for free!
Additionally, all potential swimmers should be able to swim at least one lap of the pool unassisted, and also feel comfortable swimming and jumping into the deep end of the pool, also unassisted. At practice one of our coaches will assess your child’s ability to swim on their front and back, tread water, and float on their back. Your child will learn the basic techniques to propel themselves through the water and practice fundamental synchro positions.
